Light Distractions

August 2008

Light Distractions was an experiment: we spent two weeks experimenting, playing, and prototyping with light, reflections, and shadows in a variety of ways. Instead of developing a fully formed workshop, we wanted to see what happened if we shared our ideas and prototypes at an early stage of development. We set up a room to share our works in two days. On day one we focused on manipulating materials to create light effects, with light tables, projectors, moveable light sources. On day two, we shared some light based interactive art pieces using pressure and water to create effects.
