Time is what keeps all tinkering from happening at once! Our fourth dimension, this elusive and mind-boggling constant presence in our lives, is what we’ll be investigating, bending, and playfully exploring this month. We’ll share things that take a lot of time to make, ways of experiencing time in unusual and creative ways, slowing things down, speeding things up, or freezing split seconds. What is the relationship between time and making? Have you ever found yourself tinkering with something, drawing, doodling, knitting, or simply drumming your fingers on the table because you have some time to pass? And how do clocks, exactly, keep track of time?
We’ll try to answer some of these questions, or at least raise some more, throughout this month. And don’t miss our extended celebration of everything time-related during our Open MAKE: Time event, on February 18!
