Texas: the chain reaction

As part of a "PIE fundamentals" workshop, a group of teachers from Texas (with a couple of Utah-based museum professionals thrown in) built a chain reaction. The theme, appropriately enough, was Texas!

Participants first generated a list of nouns, verbs, and adjectives that relate to Texas, and then used them to set the theme for their section of the collective chain reaction.

Each pair of participants took over a table and let their imagination and creativity drive their contraption, with the only limitation that, at the end of the table, it should trigger the next contraption.

Building took approximately 3 hours, split between two days, but thanks to the magic of time lapse it will fly by, and then the actually setting off of the chain reaction will be shown.
